House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday received at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh, United Nations Deputy Special Coordinator for Lebanon and Humanitarian Coordinator, Najat Rushdie.

Discussions reportedly touched on areas of cooperation between the UN and the parliament.

Speaker Berri also met with the head of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Lebanon, Minister Plenipotentiary Yerjan Kalikinov, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as the Lebanese-Kazakh relations.
