Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri met Tuesday at his Ain-el-Tineh residence with French Ambassador to Lebanon, Anne Grillo, over the latest political developments and the bilateral ties between Lebanon and France.

Separately, Berri received a cable from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who paid condolences on the passing of head of the Supreme Islamic Shia Council, Sheikh Abdel Amir Qabalan.
