House Speaker, Nabih Berri, cabled the President of the Iraqi Republic Barham Salih, the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Mohammad al-Halbousi, and Iraqi Prime Minister, Mustafa al-Kadhimi, expressing deepest condolences on behalf of the Lebanese people and Parliament, to the Iraqi leadership and people for the victims who fell yesterday night, as a result of the fire that broke out in Ibn al-Khatib Hospital in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

Berri hoped for “a speedy recovery for the wounded and continuous stability, progress and prosperity for Iraq.”
