House Speaker, Nabih Berri, on Wednesday met at the Second Presidency in Ain El-Tineh with former Prime Minister, Fouad Siniora, with whom he discussed the current general situation and the latest developments.

On emerging, Siniora underlined the need to exercise foresight, wisdom and the real wish to serve our citizens, through which we can get out of the current crises despite all developments.

On the other hand, Speaker Berri met with Iraqi Ambassador to Lebanon, Haidar Al-Barrak, with talks reportedly touching on the current general situation and the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Berri also received former Chairman of the Banking Control Commission of Lebanon (BCCL) Samir Hammoud, with whom he discussed the current economic and financial situation.
