Head of the National Committee for the Administration of the Corona Vaccine, Abdel Rahman Al-Bizri, warned against “Banque du Liban’s reluctance to open the necessary credits related to some chronic drugs, especially those associated with viral hepatitis and other similar diseases, which poses a danger to patients and leads to any future treatment and the decline in their health status, especially since these drugs must be given on a daily, continuous and regular basis.”

He stressed in a statement, “there should be more coordination between the Ministry of Health and the Banque du Liban, in order to prioritize some medicines that should not be interrupted, because it poses a danger to patients and leads to complications resulting from the difficulty of treating them in the future.”
