This morning, Sunday 27/11/2022, the dollar was recorded in the money changer’s market, 40,400 Lebanese pounds for purchase, and 40,300 pounds for sale.

Meanwhile, the dollar exchange rate on the black market remains at its high rate, exceeding 40,000 Lebanese pounds.

In this context, the Governor of the Banque du Liban, Riad Salameh, confirmed that the bank “will adopt an exchange rate of 15,000 pounds to one dollar as of February 1, 2023, as part of a process to unify the multiple exchange rate system in the country.”
