The black dollar continues its uncontrolled loose, after it has risen dramatically in recent hours and is on the verge of 90,000.

This morning, the black market dollar recorded 89,500 sales and 89,000 purchases.

Professor Jassim Ajaka said via an interview, that there are two hypotheses for the reasons for the insane rise of the dollar, “the first is the massive smuggling of dollars from Lebanon, in conjunction with the banks’ strike, which leads to a shortage of dollars in the market, and the second, the existence of certain political agendas to move the street with the aim of changing the balance of power on the ground among the political forces.”
