The black dollar ranged this Thursday morning, between 91,250 and 91,400 Lebanese pounds per one US dollar.

Yesterday, it closed at an exchange rate ranging between 91,000 and 91,300 Lebanese pounds per one US dollar.

Meanwhile, Hani Bohsali, the head of the Syndicate of Food Importers, expressed his satisfaction with the “decrease in the exchange rate of the dollar against the Lebanese pound, which would strengthen the purchasing power of the Lebanese and stabilize the markets.” He expressed hope in a statement that “the downward trend of the dollar continues with the influx of expatriates and tourists to Lebanon during the summer season, as it is expected that at least 3 billion dollars will be injected into the Lebanese markets.”
