The black-market exchange rate of the dollar registered on Sunday 97,000 Lebanese pounds for sale and LBP 97,300 for purchase.

According to An-Nahar newspaper, this rate might reach highest records in the near future following increases in public sector employees’ salaries, as well as raising the price of the customs duty dollar to 60,000 LBP, despite the government’s secrecy about the cost of these salary and incentive increases.
