The exchange rate of the dollar on the black market today, Thursday, recorded between 12,700 and 12,800 Lebanese pounds per dollar, after it closed yesterday evening,  between 12,650 and 12,725 Lebanese pounds per dollar.

The Syndicate of Money Changers in Lebanon confirmed the pricing of the dollar exchange rate against the Lebanese pound with a mobile margin between the price of 3,850 pounds per dollar for purchase and 3,900 for sale, as a maximum.

The exchange rate of the dollar in the Central Bank of Lebanon remained at 1507.5 pounds per dollar, and it is allocated for basic commodities only.

Lebanon has been suffering from a severe economic and financial crisis as a result of state institutions’ wastage and corruption over the past years.
