“Black market is to blame for the absence of fuel,” says Brax

“There is no fair distribution of gasoline, for several reasons,” said Georges Brax, a spokesperson for the gas station owners’ syndicate “the most important of which is that some of the distributing companies do not want to expose their tanks to risks, and some stations also avoid receiving due to the problems that they encounter and their inability to control of security.”

“The biggest difficulty is the loss of significant quantities of gasoline owing to the black market,” he said, “and this is where the security services come in.”
