Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Friday received a congratulatory message from his Italian counterpart, Luigi Di Maio, which was conveyed to him by Italian Ambassador to Lebanon, Nicoletta Bombardieri.

The meeting between Bou Habib and the Italian diplomat had been an occasion to discuss bilateral relations, the situation of the international emergency forces operating in southern Lebanon (UNIFIL), and border demarcation.

Bombardieri also discussed with Minister Bou Habib general developments and her country’s humanitarian projects in Lebanon.
