Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, held talks on Wednesday with European Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi, French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, and Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, on the sidelines of the Union for the Mediterranean’s 6th Regional Forum in Spain.

During the meetings, conferees reportedly highlighted the importance of speeding up the negotiation process with the International Monetary Fund.

Talks also touched on Lebanon’s regional role and the necessity not to interfere in the region’s crises, in order to unlock more aids.
