Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib
In a meeting with his British counterpart James Cleverly on Thursday in Riyadh, Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Abdallah Bou Habib reaffirmed that “the two-state solution is the only way to reach an agreement over the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, stop the war, and prevent its expansion to neighboring countries.”
Furthermore, Bou Habib emphasized that Israel must stop its aggressive remarks and acts of hostility directed towards Palestine and Lebanon.
Speaking briefly about the Syrian situation, Bou Habib informed his British counterpart, “The current state of affairs in Syria cannot continue.” The west should reevaluate its positions and strategy regarding the Syrian crisis and choose to support the country’s early recovery.
