Abdallah Bou Habib, the acting minister of foreign affairs and immigration, met with Janez Lenarcic, the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, to wrap up his trip to Brussels.

Talking about the Syrian refugee crisis, Bou Habib and Lenarcic both agreed that providing humanitarian aid to the displaced cannot be correlated with their location outside of their nation of origin because they also require support to be able to return and bring stability back to their communities.

Bou Habib is expected to visit Barcelona after his trip to Brussels, where he will meet with a group of foreign ministers and take part in the Union for the Mediterranean Conference’s work on the Gaza issue.
