Elias Bou Saab, the deputy speaker of the house, met with a delegation of the victims’ families on Wednesday and assured them once more that the blood of their sons would not be contaminated.

“I have spoken to all concerned sides, and I have contacted the President of the Republic, the House Speaker, the Prime Minister, the Justice Minister, and the Higher Judicial Council chief,” he revealed. “The file is on hold because the decree relevant to the cassation court’s appointments has been signed,” he added.
