Bou Saab: We have big concerns as students received only 5 percent of their curriculum

The Member of the Parliament Elias Bou Saab said in a statement following a session for the Education Parliamentary Committee that the students have received only 5 percent of the curriculum so far, while other students have completed 100 percent of the curriculum. For this reason, it is not allowed to join all students and provide them the same exam.

He said: “We have set our concerns at the disposal of the Caretaker Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr. Tarek Majzoub, in order to achieve justice and equality if the exams were held on time. the general secondary examinations. We have to take into account all the circumstances that are reported in the ministry, the health and logistical conditions, as well as the financial conditions and fees that will be paid by those who will supervise these exams, and this is a major problem.

Bou Saab added: “We discussed the brevet certificate in the way it is presented in it, and all the MPs had reservations about the mechanism proposed by the Ministry of Education for conducting the brevet exams.”

He added: “The situation is still unclear and we have great concern, and we hope things will be more obvious and take into account real studies of the situation of students in all Lebanese regions.” He added that there should be equality and justice among all students.
