On Wednesday, George Boujikian, Minister of Industry, commented on the cabinet’s decision to approve a draft bill submitted by the Ministry of Industry to organize the work of the Lebanese Council for Accreditation “Colibac” by defining its structure, the tasks of its administrative and technical units, the qualifications, experience, employment conditions, ranks, and salaries in a way that ensures the council’s impartiality and independence.

“This bill that has been underway since 2008 allows the council to kickstart its work, and it is the last remaining in a series of regulatory decrees to implement the Lebanese Accreditation Council’s establishment law,” Boujikian said in a statement.
