Boushekian says, digital marketing platforms would boost demand for local products

The “Lebanese electronic platform” was launched today, in the presence of Minister of Industry George Boushekian, former Minister of Industry Imad Hoballah, as well as industrialists, and economists.

The platform includes a variety of industrial products and innovations, and considered an opportunity for industrialists and for those with creative, and professional minds.

Minister Boushekian said that industrialists are in dire need for an electronic platform that serves as a showroom for products, similar to “Amazon”, stressing that “such marketing platforms would boost demand for national goods.”

Boushekian stressed that “the digital platform will be an alternative to the markets and retail shops in the futre,” and called for “cooperation with industrialists, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and economic attachés in embassies to keep pace with and serve the local production.”
