Former Minister Mohamed Choucair tweeted: “After the increase in the gasoline plate price to 300,000 Lebanese pounds, the institutions must increase the transportation allowance for their employees to enable them to carry out their work, secure transportation or allow some businesses to work from home. It is absolutely not possible to ask the worker to deduct from his salary, or sell some of his home furniture to come to work.”
