Shiite duo flags
“Al-Binaa” learned that the Development, Liberation, and Loyalty to the Resistance blocs, will vote with a white paper and will not present a candidate in Thursday’s session.
The duo of the Amal Movement and Hezbollah consider that the conditions are not ripe yet to announce their serious candidate, and they will not waste time with non-serious candidates, and will not meet the challenge candidate presented by the other party with an opposing challenge candidate, which raises the ceilings and leads to more complexity in the presidential scene and closes the doors of dialogue.
Parliamentary circles in the Development and Liberation bloc pointed out to Al-Binaa that “things have not changed, and we adhere to our position that consensus according to the specifications set by Speaker Berri, is the shortest way to elections for a president with comprehensive national specifications, and therefore Speaker Berri will not completely close the doors of dialogue, but rather, he will conduct dialogues in retail to try to bridge the views between the blocs.”
