In a statement issued today, the “Active Committee of Contracting Teachers in Official Basic Education” considered that “only teachers and students have paid the price of embezzlement of educational sector funds over the years, and today, they whisper about the school year with shame, while for their deprivation of teachers’ rights, they are not ashamed.”
The committee stressed “the decision is not to return to education before paying the rights, which is the dollarization of dues, obtaining a daily transportation allowance, and refusing to treat the contracting teacher as a nobody, paying the dollar incentives cut off for all, paying the dues monthly, calculating the full contract and social assistance that included everyone and excluded the contractor.”
