Council for Development and Reconstruction comments on ravaging infant formula products

 Council for Development and Reconstruction issued the following statement:

Regarding media and social media circulated information about ravaging quantities of expired infant formula, the Council for Development and Reconstruction reports that it received on 24-4-2019, 19-8- 2019, 21-11- 2019 and 14-12- 2020, letters from Vivacity s.a.l. Commercial registry No. /2038846/ with the existing address in property No. /898/ al-Naqash, requesting approval for the spoliation of infant formula quantities and other expired materials, in waste treatment facilities managed by the Council for Development and Reconstruction in preparation for the burial of waste in the sanitary landfill.

The Council for Development and Reconstruction approved the requests of this company and instructed the consultant supervising waste management contracts to take the necessary action, provided that the company that owns the goods to be damaged, will transports and unloads the boxes and containers by itself.
