The Criminal Court of Cassation headed by Judge Randa Kfoury, issued its decision in the lawsuit submitted by MP Nohad Machnouk, in which he requested that the investigation file in the Beirut port explosion case be transferred from the custody of the judicial investigator, Judge Tarek Bitar, to another judge due to legitimate suspicion.

According to Sawt Beirut International information, the court rejected Machnouk’s request to transfer the case, and considered that the suspicion was not available, as no bias was found by the judicial investigator for one party at the expense of another.
