Darkness threatens Akkar.. Secure a security escort for fuel tanks

The mayor of Mashha, Talal Alloush, asked in a statement, the General Director of Public Security, Major General Abbas Ibrahim, “to secure a security escort for the fuel tankers heading towards Akkar because darkness threatens the region after the owners of private generators ran out of diesel, in light of an unprecedented rationing of electricity that reached 20 hours a day, while the fuel ran out from the market due to road blocks and exposure to tanker drivers, especially since the fuel companies have stopped sending gasoline and diesel fuel to Akkar for fear of the drivers safety.”

Akkar is experiencing a hard gasoline and diesel crisis that began before other regions, and citizens are now afraid that some distribution companies will take advantage of attacks on tankers for not delivering diesel and gasoline to the region which will complicate the situation further.
