After total darkness swept all the Lebanese regions last night due to the suspension of the electricity production plants, especially Deir Ammar and Al-Zahrani, and the complete disconnection of the network, press information revealed that supporting the tanks of the Deir Ammar thermal plant with diesel will enable it to operate half of the plant for about three days, after it was supplied with diesel from the army’s stockpile.

The information confirmed that, starting from this afternoon, the network will be re-fed three hours a day, and regions in the North and Beirut governorates will benefit from it.
