Caretaker Prime Minister, Dr. Hassan Diab, on Thursday welcomed at the Grand Serail head of the European Union’s Military Committee, General Claudio Graziano, at the head of a military delegation, in presence of Caretaker Ministers Mohammad Fahmi and Hamad Hassan, as well as the Prime Minister’s advisor for diplomatic affairs, Ambassador Gebran Soufan.

The meeting took stock of the country’s security situation and stressed the European Union’s keenness to maintain stability and security in Lebanon.

The delegation also explored areas of assistance on the security level, especially for the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces.
