Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, expressed Lebanon’s sympathy with Iraq over the tragedy of Al Hussein Hospital fire.

In a letter to Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, Premier Diab said:

“I am deeply saddened by the news of Al Hussein Hospital fire and the resulting casualties among Iraqi brothers.

My sincere condolences go to you and to the brotherly Iraqi people, and we place all our capabilities at your disposal for any assistance you may need”.
