President Hassan Diab received a phone call from the President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, in which he thanked him for the cooperation in the last stage.

Prime Minister Diab also received a call from Prime Minister Najib Mikati, noting the effort he made, and Prime Minister Diab wished him success.

President Hassan Diab issued the following statement:

“I congratulate the Lebanese on the formation of the new government, and I wish it success in the task it will face.

I wish President Najib Mikati success in his difficult mission to put Lebanon on the path of salvation, especially since the crisis is very deep and requires the concerted efforts of all loyal people”.
