Caretaker Prime Minister, Hassan Diab, issued a decision tasking the General Secretariat of the Higher Relief Commission with the mission of purchasing pesticides to control the wheat leaf miner, Syringopais temperatella, for the Ministry of Agriculture.

The deal will be implemented  under a consensual contract worth LBP 52,500,000, according to the price survey organized by a committee formed by the Ministry  of Agriculture for this purpose.

The MoA will be in charge of receiving the materials on its responsibility. The above-mentioned cost will be deducted from the funds available at the Higher Relief Commission, and the issue will be raised during the upcoming HRC meeting for settlement.
