Members of the Strong Republic Bloc, MPs Imad Wakim and Anis Nassar, submitted a bill before the Parliament aimed at regulating chemicals and how to conserve and use them.

In addition to monitoring materials, whether pure or mixed, produced locally or imported, the law seeks to protect individuals, health, and the environment from the threats posed by chemicals.

The law establishes the location, evaluation, and control of these items, as well as the criteria, conditions, and norms that govern their usage.
