Minister of Economy and Trade Amin Salam indicated in an interview with Al-Jadeed, that the new price for a bundle of bread will be issued tomorrow morning, Wednesday, instead of today.

Salam had previously confirmed to Al-Jadeed that there is neither a bread crisis nor a flour crisis, mentioning that a “fair” price will be issued today, taking into account the dollar’s differences.

He said: “The price of the bread will be fair, and will consider the citizen’s livelihood. We are working on the price schedule, and the differences will be minor, and fair to preserve the livelihood of the poor.”

Salam pointed out that “the flour stock is available and we have signed all the requests for imported flour, which is sufficient for a long time.”
