Prime Minister Najib Mikati affirmed from Egypt that “the elections will be held on time and work is ongoing to get Lebanon out of the predicament.”

He added, “We are working to get Lebanon out of the predicaments it is suffering from, and the country’s situation requires decisive solutions, rather than abandoning responsibility.”

Mikati added: “I call on the youth of Lebanon not to consider immigration as a solution, as I call them to preserve their faith in Lebanon, which throughout its history has faced horrors and hardships more severe than the ones we are living today.”
