The European Union called on the Lebanese leadership to assume responsibility by expediting the formation of a government that would implement reforms, stressing the need to put aside political power differences and work for the sake of Lebanon.
And the Union believed that Lebanon is going through a critical period and  crises of  multiple countries are still worsening.
