The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the caretaker government, Abdallah Bou Habib, postponed his visit, which was scheduled today to New York, to participate in the ongoing contacts regarding the extension of the international forces (UNIFIL) and to support Lebanon’s position, which calls for amendments to the draft extension resolution presented to the UN Security Council before the final decision is taken on August 31.

Al Markazia confirmed that Bouhabib postponed his visit for administrative and technical reasons, nothing more or less, not because of lack of funds as claimed.
