The Press Office of the Progressive Socialist Party (PSP) stated that a picture is being circulated via social media channels of a fabricated news attributed to the Head of the PSP, Walid Jumblatt.

The statement said that this news is false, noting that there is only one official account for Jumblatt on Twitter.

The tweet that has been circulated for Jumblatt said: “With all my love for the homeland and out of my concern for civil peace and coexistence, I asked my son, Taymour, to handle the task of cooperating with Hezbollah personally to facilitate the entry of Iranian ships into Lebanon to fulfil the people’s needs with oil officially and quickly.”
