The Families of Beirut Fire Brigade Martyrs pointed out that “Among the families of the Fourth of August Martyrs, are different views on whether to support the International Investigation Proposal or not. We, as the families of the victims of the Beirut Fire Brigade, are supporting such proposal.”

“Some other families, who lost a family member in the horrific 4th August explosion, have as well the same opinion”, added the families, in a statement.

“Our participation today came to the strong move of the Representatives of the Strong Republic Bloc, to send a letter to the United Nations to intervene and investigate in the crime. We do support such step and we support all efforts made in this context, regardless of the intervening party, ” they concluded.
