Minister of Energy and Water, Walid Fayad, received at his office in the ministry the Russian Ambassador to Lebanon, Alexander Rudakov, heading a delegation, on a protocol visit for acquaintance. Discussions touched on bilateral relations, especially in the field of energy.

Fayad stressed “the importance of cooperation between the two countries in light of the current situation and Lebanon’s urgent needs in vital sectors.”

In turn, the Russian ambassador expressed “the desire of Russian companies to continue investing in Lebanon through an array of projects tackled in this context.”
