Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib indicated via an interview with “Voice of Lebanon”, that it is the duty of the ministry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior, to hold fair and transparent elections after all the tragedies in Lebanon.

He added, “We help expatriates voters to renew passports for election day only.”

Bou Habib pointed out that “sorting the ballot pens is the task of the Ministry of Interior, and after receiving the boxes from abroad, the task of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ends.”
