Forensic audit in the accounts of the Banque du Liban and the accounts of all ministries, public institutions and funds reveals the adoption of a first step that must be taken in order to reach the truth and economic recovery. It is necessary to determine the identity of those who stole and wasted public money and the savings of the people in order to be able to recover these funds.
What have we come to till present? Exactly a year has passed since 03/26/2020, on the day that the Council of Ministers issued a decision to mandate the Minister of Finance holding him accountable for taking necessary measures with the Banque du Liban and with the relevant authorities in order to carry out a focused accounting audit.
