Fuel Mafia: Hezbollah exploits Lebanon’s disasters to strengthen, impose its authority

Hezbollah militia alleges that Iranian fuel shipments are being delivered to Lebanon under deceptive banners, most notably the solution to the fuel issue, but in reality it is part of the game of strengthening and imposing its authority in a nation that is drowning into a suffocating catastrophe.

According to a study published in the Israeli daily “Jerusalem Post,” these charges demonstrate that Hezbollah and its Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, are assisting Lebanon during a fuel crisis.

However, according to the newspaper, the matter is nothing more than a ruse to allow Hezbollah to manage Lebanon’s energy requirements and aid it in its mafia-like domination of Lebanon, much as Iran seeks power and renown through that “aid.”

According to an Iranian news agency, Haj Ali Al-Zein, the mayor of a region in southern Lebanon, stated during an interview with the “Al-Ahed News” website about Hezbollah’s plan to distribute fuel to hundreds of thousands of families, that 77 municipalities are attempting to provide heating services to people, particularly residents.

The BBC reported in September that Hezbollah had supplied fuel to Lebanon.

According to the report, the fuel distribution procedure is handled without regard for regional, sectarian, or political factors, and that authorities from each region who contact Hezbollah for fuel would get services after executing the proper audits.

According to the “Jerusalem Post,” the foregoing reveals that Hezbollah, which has only 12 seats in the Lebanese parliament, controls parallel communications networks, runs its own army of terrorists in the country, manages foreign policy, and now controls banks, housing, shops, and fuel in the country.

According to the newspaper, Hezbollah wants to make its party indispensable during this cold season, trying to grow in power and profit from the people’s misery.
