Ministry of Energy and Water issued the following statement:

Based on the meeting that took place in Baabda on August 21, 2020, and based on the exceptional approval of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, and in the presence of the President, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Finance, the Governor of Banque du Liban, and the Minister of Energy and Water (via Zoom application0, It was agreed unanimously by the attendees to address the repercussions through adopting the dollar exchange rate of 8000 L.L for the purchase of fuel, as the price of a fuel plate became, starting Monday morning, 22-8-2021 as follows:

Gasoline 98 octane 133200 L.L.
gasoline 95 octane 129000 L.L.
Diesel Oil 101,500 L.L.
Domestic gas flask 90400 L.L.

Provided that the rest of the fuel derivatives prices remain according to the price composition table issued on 11-8-2021
