MP Michel Daher affirmed in a Tweet that “the petrol crisis is only worsening and the citizen is spending over two hours to fill up 10 liters of fuel in Zahle stations. The crisis is now paralyzing the industrial and economic sectors and preventing employees from getting to work.”

“If citizens were given the choice between the continuation of the gasoline subsidy that is fanciful, or its removal, they would definitely opt for the second option,” Daher concludes.
