Gasoline monopoly is prohibited in Beirut, Governor of Beirut affirms

The Governor of Beirut, Judge Marwan Abboud, “ordered the classified institutions in the Beirut municipality, with the help of the General Directorate of State Security, the Fire Brigade, and the Guard Corps, to inspect gas stations in Beirut in order to ensure that no gasoline monopoly operation is being recorded,” according to the Public Relations Department of the Beirut Municipality.

“Seizure records will be registered against violators for not selling gasoline to citizens in Beirut,” Abboud added.
