Head of the Lebanese Forces party, Samir Geagea, expressed, in a statement, his sincere condolences to the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, following the tragic collision of two trains in Sohag.

“I extend my deepest  condolences to the Egyptian President, Abdul Fattah El- Sissi, the Egyptian government and the Egyptian people in general, who have always stood by our side as Lebanese in hardship,” the statement read.

Geagea also offered his condolences to the families of the victims, saying: “We, as Lebanese, understand your feeling today of your painful affliction because we have tasted its bitterness, as its last chapters were represented by the explosion of Beirut Port.”
