Head of the Kataeb Party, Sami Gemayel, commented on the formation of the government, tweeting the following:

“The government was formed with an Iranian green light, devoted for Hezbollah’s control over the Lebanese decision-making.”

He added: “This is not a political moment, but a continuity of the system’s work and the quota approach that has brought the country to what it has reached.”

Gemayel continued, “The same causes will lead to the same result. The political moment is up to the Lebanese in May.”
