The General Directorate of Oil issued the following statement:

“The General Directorate of Oil confirms that the price synthesis schedule that was issued yesterday, Wednesday, is the prevailing and binding for facilities, companies and stations together in the sales and distribution processes.

The directorate adds that the fuel prices that are circulated through the media or social media are not accurate, but are calculations based on assumptions. The Directorate hopes that it will not be adopted, in the interest of transparency and objectivity. It calls upon those who trade at these inaccurate prices to verify the source concerned with issuing prices in order to prevent confusion”.
