The Minister of Social Affairs Hector Hajjar said that the ration card should be studied in-depth and in details. He added that a remarkable progress has been achieved on this level, and Lebanese will be informed about the results within few days.

Hajjar said: “In principle, we didn’t make any radical modifications in the conditions set previously by the committees.”

In response to a question about concerns regarding converting the ration card into an electoral card, Hajjar assured that “work is ongoing with complete transparency, to achieve the desired goals and provide the card to most needy people.”
