Minister of Education Abbas Halabi confirmed that the Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi, bears with parents, educational institutions and students how to complete this school year with all the epidemic difficulties, especially living difficulties and the issue of premiums.

After his meeting with Rahi in Bkerke, Halabi added: “We talked about this issue, exchanged opinions, and took some advice, for this conversation to be completed in a nearby meeting to be held in Bkerke with those concerned in education, to try to draw conclusions that could lead to a relief in the school year.”

He pointed out that national concern is always present in every meeting with His Beatitude, who affirms the basic principles of Lebanon, these principles that we would like to see Lebanon continue with, taking into account its Arab affiliation and national unity at home.

And whether the government was able to answer the Arab paper, he said: “I think that the answer is being prepared between the president and the foreign minister, and it will certainly be presented to us later.”

He added: “It is not supposed to encounter any problems if there is an internal understanding.”
