Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, met this afternoon with a technical delegation from the World Bank with whom he discussed a detailed proposal for the reconstruction of the port of Beirut.

Hamieh tackled with the delegation the strategic plans of the World Bank in terms of managing the operation of the port and the master plan for the four ports in Lebanon, stressing “the need for a legal framework that is a key factor in attracting investments and encouraging fair competition.”
